In the CHL Fan Challenge fans have the possibility to collect points in 20 different categories (see part 2 “Categories“). Points of individual fans are allocated to the club they chose on registration and therefore making an overall ranking by team possible. In addition, an overall ranking of fans will also be shown so that fans can see how they are personally doing compared to the rest of Europe.
The aim of the CHL Fan Challenge is to find the team with the most active fans. Said team will be found based on the overall club ranking. At the same time the top three fans – based on the overall fan ranking – will be rewarded with exclusive prizes.
To make the CHL Fan Challenge accessible to everyone to win, there will be two ranking phases – the first after the Group Stage has finished, and the after the Final. The criteria in each category are as follows:

Fans of all clubs that have qualified for the CHL in the past can now earn points to support their favourite team in the CHL Fan Challenge. Fans can choose from all 100 clubs that have participated in the CHL over the years. The 68 clubs that aren’t participating in this year’s competition will be ranked in a separate Alumni Club Ranking. Fans of CHL Alumni Clubs collect points and are automatically included in the Fan Ranking.
